Traffic is created if a guest visits a website. The data transfer itself is called traffic.

More Information

Example: A photography website has a traffic limit of 1 GB. The author uploads 10 pictures of 1 MB size. If 10 visitors click on every picture the data limit is full and the webpage goes blank or informs the visitor that the traffic limit is reached.
